The Dynamic Change and Effect of Rainfall Induced Groundwater Flow

This study aims to analyze the groundwater flow changes caused by rainfall and its influence on slope stability. Taking in Dingjiafen, Chuxiong, Yunnan, China as area, monitored data of drew upon calculation module ArcGIS predict change water level fluctuation soil. In this way, visual simulation distribution was realized; seepage slope’s stability also analyzed. The results indicate that: (1) recharge rate is affected thickness soil layer, slope, intensity, initial content soil; (2) per unit time positively correlated with layer slope; (3) repeatedly raised, maintained, dissipated periodic which destroys structure (4) reduces cohesion internal friction angle resulting “muddy softening effect” weak zone.
